YOU CAN PRINT WITH THIS PRINTER...all you need to do is press the reset button for 10 seconds ( the one with the upside down triangle) print print something. when it tells you to replace the cartridge press the red triangle button for 10 seconds and it wIll resume printing,,,( beware when you do this you cannot monitor the ink levels you`ll have to keep your on the prints.....DO NOT LET THE CARTRIDGES RUN DRY THIS WILL SHORTEN THERE LIFE IF NOT KILL THEM )

hi there most canon printers will not take a refilled cartridge as this was the case with ours go to your local cartridge shop and you will have to purchase a brand new one. this is because of the microchip that sends a signal in the printer
