Squeezed by hand, no. I don't think anyones hands are that powerful. But if you are in a car accident or some other kind of extreme trauma to the breast it can happen. You should go to some consultations with a list of questions like this and he/she will ease your mind. P.S. - don't listen to people who tell you not to do it or that they look horrible. They don't know what you've been through. I've gotten them, they look fabulous and I'm SO happy with my decision. But make that decision on your own and see A LOT of doctors before you chose one.

ever since i was a kid, i had a lump on my left breast. i've had alot of surgeries done, but it keeps growing back. fortunately, it's benign. in 2 years, my doctor will remove my entire left breast and put an implant in to prevent the lump from growing again. i'm a bit scared because of all the horror stories i've heard about implants bursting or getting people sick.

i've had a lengthy discussion with my mother about plastic surgery - how i think it should be done only by those who have medicial reasons or people who have had bad accidents (i.e. burn victims, bad car crashes, etc.) and your cause is for a medical reason, this isnt just because you want bigger boobs or anything - so i think morally and ethically its a just reason to have breast implants. i think the practice is much safer now then it use to be, but the thing is you have to really research the doctor who you want to have perform the operation and see what he has done in the past, and his degrees. ive heard horror stories from people who went to lil hole in the wall places and wondered why something went wrong - you get what you pay for, right? so just do research on the doctor, and make sure he can make them both look the same size and similar shape - because you wouldnt want to look "off".

can someone tell me how much moving around you can do after getting breast implants and how long should it take to recover? what are the procedures to an implant that bursts? an employee of mine claims that she had breast implants a week or two ago and can't do customer's nails and such. i want to understand so i know whether or not she is lying.

I hate when people give stupid answers on here. Your employee is probably not lying. Breast augmentation is a major surgery. Recovery time varies for everyone based on their own personal pain tolerance. If your employee does nails, she has a job that requires manual labor. The hardest part of recovery for this surgery is using your arms. Those muscles are connected to your chest, which are obviously very sore after having this procedure done. When I had mine, I took off 9 days and I was bartending. Even when I went back to work, I was not as fast as usual and did experience some mild pain. You do not want your employee to come back to work too soon if she cannot do her job correctly and/or might injure herself, in which case she'll only be out longer. And certainly do not fire her. If she had the surgery because an implant burst, that is no longer a cosmetic procedure but rather medical as burst implants MUST be removed. You would be looking at a nice lawsuit if you terminated her.

to make it short, i want to get implants. i have seen the shows on tv about the horrors of implants, and how they can burst or your body can reject them, and i was just curious to everyone else's stories. do you know people who have had implants? have they had good results or bad?

hi there mango...... i had implants for 9 years and had them removed. only because i was like a walking freak show or at least that is the way i felt.= at 1st all the attention i got was great, but pretty soon, i tired of it. nobody talked to my face, just my boobs. and they became heavy....my back could not take it...i simply had them removed. also they became very painful and heavy. even with the best sports bras. i just could not take the pain any longer so i had them removed. it was a big decision for me to make and after 9 years, i had them removed.

i'm 21 years old and thinking more and more on the idea of getting breast implants. can anybody tell me their experience, what i can expect from the doctors appointments through the recovery. i'm thinking that im going to get an insertion through the armpit which seems less scary. also i read a while back that saline implants are safer, just in case if anything bursts. please no negative comments.

Be certain you get a board certified plastic surgeon and do some research on him/her. Go on several different consultations with different physicians until you find one you feel comfortable with. Don't get your heart set on a certain insertion method because every surgeon has his/her own personal preferences, and there are various factors to consider with each different method. Ask for phone numbers of patients that would be willing to speak with you concerning their experience in general and with the physician and his/her office staff before, during and after surgery. It's a big decision and you should treat it as such - you'll know when you've found the right doctor. Best of luck!

Q. Sleepin facedown with breast implants?
how long after having breast implants would you be able to start sleepin facedown on your implants? by doing this would it cause the saline implants to burst? since its saline water? also wat happens if you fell facedown, would your implants break? o_o

No they won't burst. But I would not do it because your muscles and tissue are not formed around them until several months after being done and they can shift. I know a girl who got implants under the muscle and thru the belly button, wears strapless shirts with no bra constantly, then in 6 months she has the boobs of a 50 year old woman. They dropped several inches and are super saggy. She was supposed to wear a bra for quite a while and didn't.
