If these depos only stop you ovulation, does that mean the implanon implant only does the same thing? ie if I am already pregnant & get an implant, does it affect any `baby` which might be already started or does it only affect wether one can start?

im not sure about this but i have heard that it does last for up to five yers but is less effective in the 4th and 5th years thats why they say 3 years... im assuming if it runs out of hormone it just a bit of plastic?? however i have also read on the implanon site that not removing it after 3 yrs can cause serious side effects even infertility i would recomend you to take a look at the implanon site. i have had mine in for exactly 3 yers and am due to have it taken out this month too

i use to have itchy arm where my implant is but it will settle down, i think it is just a side effect till your body gets use to it.

i had mine put in a week ago, i still have a plaster on it because its not healed properly, when i move my arm in different possitions it feels like its tearing and trying to come out. is this normall?? it also looks very near to the surface of my skin whereas you had to really feel for my friends ones.

I HAD MY IMPLANT INSERTED ON THE .20TH OF DECEMBER, AND IT`S STARTED TO ITCH AND LOOKS RED WHERE THE IMPLANT IS. I WAS WORRIED IT WAS INFECTED BUT NOW IV SEEN THIS SITE IT`S PUT MY MIND AT REST A LITTLE

There is no pain in leaking breast implant . The only way to know that the breast implant is leaking is that there is a change in shape and size of the breast implant. The size will get smaller after the leaking of implanted breast jack lee

Generally , it is impossible to leak in breast implant , if it is properly implanted by the surgeon until a huge force is applied to the implanted breast . Thus, if the implanted breasts gets a hard hit , they may leak out Jack Lee

everyone is different i am 22 and already have 2 children. i had my implant taken out 4/12 weeks ago and i found out i am pregnant yesterday but i haven`t had a period:) good luck

In general, it is not possible that some one would have snapped her breast implant. However, if one feels a gap in her breast implant, might be possible that the breast implant has snapped. the best way to get it rectified wether the breast implant has snapped or not is to go to a doctor, if possible the one you got your breast implant done with. and get a checkup of the same.
