For resetting the Samsung ML 1640 printer`s cartridge , you need a new chip. They are available from manufacturers such as Sky. The printer uses the mlt-d1082s toner cartridge, which can only print an estimated 1500 pages. You can also build a strap on the 93C66 memory between pins 1 and 4 to work a few times without changing the chip. Ben Norrington

To reset the toner cartridge samsung 4300, the person must have a instruction manual which he get along with the kit when he buy the samsung 4300 printer. The person can reset the toner cartridge by following the instructions given in it. Darren Morkel

Inorder to refill your toner for Samsung 1640: Add the "toner port" to your cartridge, then add the toner formular to your toner cartridge through the toner port. Seal the cartridge toner port and remove and replace the samsung cartridge reset chip. Karen James

I refill it myself, its really easy. I purchase a ink refill from staples, usually around $20 but you get a lot of refills from it. The kit includes a needle like thing, ink and instructions. Make sure you get the ink that is right for Canon.Youtube refill ink cartridge and you`ll get multiple guides on how to do it. Its not messy, easy, quick and cheap!Hope my answer will help you a lot.
