To refill the ink cartridge on canon pixma mp 258 printer , the person has to simply open the printer cover . Place out the empty ink cartridge ands get it refill by using syringe needle . Locate the refill ink cartridge in holder and close the cover .

You need to install the cartridges by following these steps: lift the top cover of the printer, wait for the cartridge cradle to settle in the middle of the printer, unplug the printer from the power source, take the ink cartridges out one by one (see the arrows on it) and replace them with the new ones after removing the protective tape. YOU CAN PRINT WITH THIS PRINTER...all you need to do is press the reset button for 10 seconds ( the one with the upside down triangle) print print something. when it tells you to replace the cartridge press the red triangle button for 10 seconds and it wIll resume printing,,,( beware when you do this you cannot monitor the ink levels you`ll have to keep your on the prints.....DO NOT LET THE CARTRIDGES RUN DRY THIS WILL SHORTEN THERE LIFE IF NOT KILL THEM )

PG210XL ink cartridges, as denoted by xl, contains more ink than pg 210, and therefore has a higher yield in terms of capacity (around 400 pages in normal printing). This is almost double if compared with pg 210, whose average yield is around 220 pages. Despite the difference, they both fit into the same range of printers.

The Canon Pixma 250 printer uses pg-512, pg-510, cl-513 and acl-511 cartridges. The PG ones are black: PG-512 holds 15ml = approx. 400 pages while PG-510 is smaller and only holds 9ml = 220 pages. The CL ones are color: 513 holds 13ml = 350 pages while 511 holds 9ml = 240 pages. Ben Norrington

In order to replace the ink cartridge for canon mx330, first of all open the cover of your canon mx330 printer and take out the old cartridge . Get the canon mx330 refilling kit and refill the cartridge by using a syringe needle ane keep it back. Jack Sullivan

Use the manual that came with your printer, or download a copy from the Canon printers website. The basic idea is pretty simple, but you have to catch the move until you`ll feel comfortable changing it with ease. You just need to open the printer`s cover, wait for the cartridge cradle to stop, unplug , slowly pull out cartridges, remove the protective tape from new ones and then replace them gently until the new cartridge clicks.
