To reset ink level on Canon Pixma mp 220, the person has to hold down the reset button which is of red color for some time, when the printer is on. When the warning light will go off, then only the person can leave the button and can do the work without any problem. Darren Morkel

For resetting the ink lever in canon pixma mp 250 is very simple. the main thing which has to be followed is that you have to disable the ink level monitors after you refill the ink cartridges. then you can see and check the ink levels thrugh the provided software. Bill.Gagnon

The removal of the ink cartridges is not a complicated process at all because you just have to open the head of the printer manually by your hands . before that switch on the printer so that the cartridges come before you. then you can manually take out the cartridges from the cartridges holders and then do the refilling or what ever you like. you can find the same instructions on the manual of the printer also. have a look at them and do it yourself. thanks
