This is incorrect. Property the proceeds of crime will first try to be returned to the right full owners if if stolen and all illegal drugs destroyed. Then usually at a public auction any goods left will be sold to the highest bidders. All funds received will be placed in government revenue and used for anything from public roads, law enforcement or public libraries etc. I can only imagine this would happen in a similar way in Europe.

Q. Selling dogs at a wal mart parking lot ?
i was shocked that people sell puppies at parking lots (weimaraner, shih tzu, great danes). is that really legal in texas ?if it is not legal i gonna call the police and report them . who knows where they got the dogs (they might be stolen from someone). the had a part of the dogs outside and the other part was inside the old van . were yes that is really sick and it makes me angry.

It's WalMart property--go inside and ask to speak to the store manager. They should call the police and have the people ticketed or arrested. Nobody is allowed to sell in parking lots without the permission of the store, and WalMart does NOT allow anything sold on their property that isn't WalMart itself.

i always hears stories about people saying things like "i bought a nintendo ds for 15 quid from a police auction" how the hell do you find out about these police auctions, ive seen auctions on ebay that sell the sources of police auctions and job lot sales. but these sources clearly originated from somewhere, but where? ideally looking for police auctions within birmingham area.

No, no bonus for them. You will get more privileges and you may get a better schedule or get certain days off that you want. The cops say they don't have quotas because having quotas is against the law. But if a motorcycle cop doesn't perform at a certain level, he's not a motorcycle cop for long!! LOL They are expected to "pull their weight" in the department and to me that's a quota.

if people want to eliminate crime, they should speak up. why do we need to have undercover police? some say that a lot of drugs are sold by undercover cops. are they helping or contributing to the problem?

they help you don't want to let the bad guys find out the coppers are coming. The bad people will be able to hide or ambush. With undercover ops they were able to find out terrorists and stuff so it is good in my opinion.

yeah i was wondering wheres a good police impound in california that sell a lot of import tuner cars...like the impound in the fast and the furious where they have all those street racing cars....where are one of those in california....and how much do the prices range from???thanks

Q. How can we win the war on drugs if the police are more concern with seatbelt users?
when i travel around i see a lot of commercials with police warning you that they are cracking down on people who don't wear seat belts. seriously, why is my fellow law men more concern with an idiot who doesn't value his own life than with drug pushers selling to our kids? shouldn't we be focusing on these guys instead? i bet the public rolls their eyes at this commercial when they know meth labs popping up left and right, it makes me sick.

Amen! When I see cops setting speed traps for poor commuters it seems like such a waste of tax dollars. Are they really going to catch a drunk at 7AM? Chances are low in my town. Shouldn't they be out there finding all the meth labs (which my town has a big problem with) rather than worrying about some businessman late for work going 10 over? It would be a wonderful world if speeders were all the cops had to worry about but goodness me, I see too many speed chasers and too many people just walking the streets who are obviously stoned.

the police are pretty kool with pot . but it was so bad in the east side at one time that it was litterally wall to wall drug dealers and users and most were shooting up. it was very scary and still no one here really paid to much attention. just turned a blind eye. but things are changing. slowly.....

also, are these viable alternative to going to a car dealership? i hear the cars tend to be sold for a lot cheaper.

unless your ready for a to play the impound lottery don't do it. Many people don't bother to get cars out of the pound for a reason. Unless your a mechanic and have xray vision don't waste your time. You have a warranty when you buy from a dealer. We usually look to those types of auctions for car parts . You have better odds of winning power ball then getting a good car from a place like that. If you have the money to gamble with then do it. Most people I know do not.
