If a person requires to refill hp 121 cartridges , then visit to the hp service center and get hp 121 cartridges refill , to avoide any damage to the printer .

OK ppl i found the answer to this problem. i love my canon MP250 printer. ink levels gets released if you do this. once your ink level runs out and you get the warning that ink is empty. and your only option is to cancel printing. do this: hold down your reset button for 5 or more seconds. this will releas your pc from detectiong ink levels for that cartrige. same works for black and color cartrige. you wont get any ink levels but hey you can refill the cartriges and print. just watch your print outs for ink thats getting finished. and thats it. if you read your warning message that your PC gives you for a empty cartrige it actually explains what i just said. if any one knows how to reset the software to show you how much ink is in the refilled cartrige. please let me know. JUST BY THE WAY MPTOOL DOES NOT WORK FOR CANON MP250. SO DONT WAIST YOUR TIME DOWNLOADING THAT SOFTWARE. please give me feed back to my answer.

By Chris Moore, eHow Contributor Like any other printer ink cartridges, replacing those for a Kodak printer can be annoying and sometimes costly. Refilling an old cartridge with new ink, whether it`s a basic black or color cartridge or even one for a photo printer, can save you a lot of hassle. A big reason is that you can probably find a decent refill kit at the corner drugstore rather than traveling to the computer or electronics store. The kit will probably cost less than a cartridge and can be used several times. Difficulty: Easy Instructions things you`ll need: • Syringe bottle • Bottles of new printer ink • Drill (black cartridge) • Sharp knife (color/photo cartridge) • Toothpicks (color/photo cartridge) 1. o 1 Open up the cartridge to reach the ink chamber within. For color and photo cartridges, just remove the lid with a sharp knife (insert it where the black and colored plastic meet) to find the three fill holes. On black cartridges, make a hole with a heated pin or drill on top of the cartridge where the letter "K" is. o 2 Check the chambers in a color/photo cartridge to determine which color ink is in which chamber. Insert a different toothpick or pin into each chamber to draw out yellow, cyan or magenta ink. o 3 Fill a plastic syringe bottle with enough ink in the color you are refilling. A black ink cartridge should need 10 to 15 milliliters. A color/photo cartridge takes 5 milliliters of each color. o 4 Insert the syringe needle into the cartridge, sending the tip down to the bottom. The chamber contains a sponge, so you will need a small bit of force to push it in. o 5 Inject the ink into the cartridge. Unlike other brands of cartridges, you want to saturate the sponge with ink in a Kodak cartridge. Depress the syringe plunger slowly until you can see the ink begin to surface on top of the sponge. o 6 Wash all ink residue out of the syringe after you`ve refilled one shade of ink. If you intend to refill another color immediately, dry the syringe out first. o 7 Replace the lid on a color/photo cartridge. Apply a strip of tape to the spot where you first removed the lid to secure it. You don`t need to seal a hole you drilled in a black cartridge. o 8 Leave the cartridge standing in a secure spot overnight. Refiling canon ink cartridges highly depends on the model of the printer you`re using. In general, you should read carefully the instructions found in the refill kit. You may need to drill a small hole on top where you will insert a needle that contains the ink. Also, different models require that you do a chip reset to ensure it works properly. /John Ice
