The removal of the ink cartridges is not a complicated process at all because you just have to open the head of the printer manually by your hands. before that switch on the printer so that the cartridges come before you. then you can manually take out the cartridges from the cartridges holders and then do the refilling or what ever you like. you can find the same instructions on the manual of the printer also. have a look at them and do it yourself. thanks

Easiest way I know is to press and hold the "Stop" button at the far right of your printer console for 3-5 seconds and that should clear the error message.

If you have the HP 6500, you might try (on the control panel of the printer itself) press the setup button, select Preferences then select Cartridge Chip info, press the 1 key on the number key pad (on the printer itself) that will turn of the usage information collection. Although you probably will lose the cartridge levels info, at least you can refill the cartridges and they should work. I hope this helps, it did for me.

I figured it out!!! Take the RFID chip out find the black square on the front about 3/16 by 3/16 of an inch. Find the 2 wires in the board that complete the connection between that square and use a knife on the chip to break the connection between both sides of the square. Your printer should then show the black ink is full. It has worked for me for awile now. I thought i would pass it on to save you all some money. REFILL the ink don`t buy new.

In order to remove ink from cannon pixma printer , the person would be required to open the upper covering of his cannon pixma printer and take the ink cartridge from the printer out and replace it with new ink cartridge.

The HP DeskJet 920 C printer has no chips that prevent printing after refilling. If a warning appears, just ignore it. There may be software apps that make it go away. However, the hp 920 cartridge (also known as HP CD973AE) does have a chip. Ben Norrington
