Q. About periods...with really bad backpain...?
i have for the past 4 periods cycles, have experienced really bad back pain. i have a thermal heat pad that is "air activated" and gives heat for 8 hours. is there anything i can do because i get the worst pain in the first 2 days. i do yoga on a regular basis (3 times a week) and i run on the treadmill (2 times a week). do those help? is there anything i can do to relieve it? i take either midol or pamprin but never the 2 together...help? i am not sexually active either.

I used to get really really awful back pain with my periods. My doctor put me on the pill "dianette" and it was brill - made them alot lighter and i never had backpain again! Also a hot water bottle and a nice cup of tea/anything hot is comforting.

Q. 38 weeks pregnant and bad backpain? please anwser?
ive been reading up on back pain at this poitn in pregnancy and obviously it is pretty common but im wondering if back labor pain is constant back pain or if it comes and goes like contractions? im have very bad back pain very low and into my tail bone and iam crampy around my hips area. does this sound like labor to you or just regular pregnancy pain? it is increasing in intensity and is nearly to the point where i cant walk. i dont think iam haveing contractions just braxton hicks contractions and twinges in my cervix. any opinions would be greatly appriciated. thx

I had back labor with two of my babies, and that is pretty much exactly how I would have described it. If it keeps getting more intense it may serve you well to call your doctor. Better to be safe than sorry....you dont want to deliver that baby at home or on the road!!

Q. Im 31 weeks pregnant and having bad backpain...any relief?
are there any things that you have found to help with back pain?????

Sleeping with a pillow between my knees with my knees bent helps my back i-m-m-e-n-s-e-l-y. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have been doing that for about 6-8 weeks now. It's made a huge difference! Tylenol tends to help a little too. My body was used to taking ibuprofen before I got pregnant so it doesn't feel Tylenol very well....not strong enough, but it does help a little. I also bought some Dr Schoals (sp?) inserts for my shoes. That probably helps me too. I know it makes my feet feel better!! Good luck!!
