Q. How much is the cost to enter the niagara falls for kids?
how much is the cost to enter the niagara falls for kids... my sister is visiting the canada side, and i'm not gonna be able to go but i'm letting her take my kids. i just wanted to know approx how much it would be per child to go in.... so i can give the the exact money

"The niagara parks service offers a $10 parking..."

Unless you just plan to drive around in your car, you will very likely have to pay for parking or shuttle service no matter what you do. Free parking and walking is possible, but it fills up quick and would probably take up too much of your short period of time to find. A parking fee of about $8-10 should get you close enough to the Falls to walk. Also, the Niagara Parks Service offers a $10 parking lot which includes a free shuttle service to and from the Table Rock Complex. Their observation decks (both indoor and outdoor) are free. They get their money from other attractions, shopping and their food service, all of which is optional for you to do. Most permanent attractions on both sides of the NF border have some sort of admission fee. If you just want to see the Falls and nothing else for a short period of time, it probably won't be completely free but it can be done for relatively little money.

Q. How much cost a taxi from the niagara falls amtrak station to the rainbow bridge?
how much cost a taxi from the niagara falls amtrak station to the rainbow bridge?

"Niagara falls..."

The rainbow bridge is only about 5 miles away from the Amtrak station which is located on 4267 Bridge Street, Niagara Falls. A taxi should be around $10 CDN depending on the cab company. Hope this helps! Tara http://www.everything-niagara-falls.com

Q. How much does it cost to get a greyhound bus from toronto to niagara falls?
i am going to toronto tomorrow with some of my family for the week. we are planning to go to niagara falls. about how much does it cost in dollars.

"The train and bus stations in niagara falls are some distance from the falls..."

Fares on Greyhound vary between $29.20 and $74.20 for return trip depending on time of day and whether you get a refundable or non-refundable ticket. Availability of the lower-priced tickets is very limited. Coach Canada also runs between Toronto and Niagara Falls. Return fare is $46.65. Since you are going on a weekend you can also take the GO train from Toronto Union Station to Niagara Falls VIA station. Return fare is $38.30. VIA Rail also does this route, but the return fare is $65.10. The train and bus stations in Niagara Falls are some distance from the falls, so you may want to take a shuttle once you arrive there. You can buy a day pass for the Niagara Falls Transit buses (including the shuttle that serves the VIA station) at Union Station, and at the VIA station and bus terminal in Niagara Falls. If you have casino membership cards it would be cheaper to take the casino bus.

Q. How much fuel and tolls cost nj to niagara falls ny?
i am driving from south jersey to ny niagara falls just trying to find out how much this trip will cost. i am looking to find out how much bridge tolls and tolls will cost me.

Joe, I imagine you will take the New York State Thruway to cross New York (it is the simplest way). But you can avoid this and most tolls. Do you know the MapQuest website at all? There is an option to avoid tolls and to find you the cheapest gas prices too. Check it out. By simply putting in your departure and destination, it will provide mileage, maps, directions, times etc. Take note of the routing options on the right: http://www.mapquest.com/

Q. What is the best and most cost effective hotel to stay at in niagara falls, ontario?
im going to niagara falls at the end of the month. i've never been there before. i don't want to end up staying at a hotel that is miles away from the falls and all the attractions, but i also don't want to pay a arm and a leg.

"This will put you somewhere between 1-3 miles from the falls..."

You'll probably have to choose one or the other, unless 1-3 miles is not too far away from the cataracts for you. The most economical lodgings (as well as many reasonable restaurants both chain and independent) are on Lundy's Lane. This will put you somewhere between 1-3 miles from the falls, but you will be on a road that can take you directly to the falls. There are many cheaper lodging chains as well as independent places there. However, remember that all NF lodgings normally raise their prices up for weekend nights. It is not unusual to see a room's price double from weekday to weekend during the peak travel season. In addition, about a year ago, I stayed at the Rodeway Inn Fallsview on Stanley Avenue. It was right across the street from the Minolta tower, surrounded by restaurants both local and chain and was a short walking distance from the Fallsview Casino. It wasn't too far up the hill from the Falls either. A day pass on the incline could cut that down even further. Depending on when you go, the price may be more than it was for me ($65C). Nailing that deal down is up to your own research. Three additional tips about the Rodeway Inn Fallsview: 1. Make sure it's the Rodeway Inn Fallsview on Stanley Avenue since there are three Rodeway Inns in NFO and a fourth in NY. The other three are MUCH different than this location and are not recommended. 2. This location is a hybrid where they built a new section in front of an older property. I stayed in the newer section and can report a clean and well appointed room. Some reviews claim the newer section is better than the older one. However, a 4 out of 5 smile rating from Travelocity and a three diamond rating from AAA may contradict that idea. Having only stayed in the newer section, I can't confirm it, though. 3. For some unexplained reason, I found the double bed rooms here to be cheaper than the single bed rooms. Usually, it's the other way around. I had no problem being in a double bed room (especially since the room was quite large to begin with) if it meant my stay was cheaper. Even if you only need single rooms, opening your options might get you a better price.

Q. How can you get from the buffalo airport to niagara falls? how much does it cost?
can you just walk outside the airport building at get transportation?

"Buffalo to niagara border at the rainbow bridge will take about an hour or so..."

You can. Many Cab's offer flat rate's. Buffalo to Niagara Border at the Rainbow Bridge will take about an hour or so. Then the time it take's to cross there, maybe 30 min's or longer. Call around the Buffalo area and see which Cab Companies offer Flat Rate. Could be 40 to 80 Dollar's depending on what you want to spend. Or Even more. Im beside Niagara on the Canadian side so i know pretty much all the scam`s companies use to burn the tourist`s. So believe me, do your homework!! Plan very carefully. Maybe consider a bus tour from there (Buffalo) to Canada. That will save you money as well.Pretty much all the attraction`s are on our side, in case you have never been. If you need more info, let me know, Alway`s glad to help.
