I wokeup a week ago smelling and tasting bleach. felt sick. Went to ER. No test were given to me. Dr gave me pills for stomack. Since then I am having white flashes, panic attacks and find it hard to breath sometimes.

I was cleaning my toilet today and used a little bleach and because it was not enough I used toilet duck as well, the smell was really bad and have a bad throat now. I have opened all windows but I am scared now that I have harmed myself in some way.

As ridiculous as this answer may sound, Acid Reflux tastes strangely like Acid. I don`t pretend to be an expert, but it is caused by the expulsion of Stomach Acid from your stomach to your throat and mouth. It can also change the taste of the mucus on the back of your throat, which you may not have noticed before but now becomes much more noticeable as it is more acidic than before. Basically Acid Reflux tastes like Acid. Because it is acid. Having said that, you may not know what stomach acid tastes like. If you have a strange taste in your mouth that usually isn`t there that persists even with an average diet, it may be Acid Reflux :)

From my limited knowledge after a chlorine incident in my chem lab, you should flush your system by drinking water continually. Chlorine makes unpleasant chemicals form in your body tissues and permeate your interstitial fluid. Water will immediately begin to dilute this, but you need to drink alot. Minimum .5L per hour (thats one regular-size poland spring bottle every hour). More is better, but that should do it. The faster you do it, the faster whatever chlorine levels that are in your body should decrease. I realize you may feel too nauseus to drink alot of water quickly, so don`t do that right away. Drink as rapidly as comfortable, and keep increasing to your maximum comfort level until you flush all those toxins.

I felt a pop in the left side of my head then pain started on that same side and now I have a nasty taste in my mouth . Does anyone happen to have an Idea what this could be????

Bleach can badly burn your lungs. Extended exposer in an enclosed space can cause all kinds of respiratory problems that can last for weeks
