Your symptoms are not typical of a heart attack and you are low risk for heart disease since you are 23 with no real risk factors besides obesity. Most likely it is related to a musculoskeletal issue, such as a pulled muscle. See a doctor to get evaluated and assure a serious condition is not causing your symptoms. Good luck.

When that happens its called an air pocket. They eventually go away because i have had them to. But if yours happens each time u take a deep breath u should probably go to the doctor for that. Glad if i could help

i need help. over the past month i have been having very weird things happening to me. first, let me start with what i have. i am 17 years old. i am obese and have diabetes. i also have panic attacks. my panic attacks are not like normal peoples panic attacks. usually when people have them their heart races and they feel it's hard to breath. mine are extremely different. i get extremely scared, of everything. my heart doesn't race, nothing happens except in my head. if you saw me while having one it would look as if i was completely calm. well, this month i had an incident where i felt i was having a heart attack. i called 911 and they came and told me it was a panic attack, because everything looked fine. it felt nothing like my normal panic attacks, which was completely strange to me. this happened again to me, 3 more times. two of the times i had my "normal" panic attack with the heart racing. the other time, i didn't. i went to the doctor and was given a heart monitor. since then i have not had the heart racing symptoms. last week i went on vacation to london. while i was there i started having this weird poking feeling in my chest. it felt like someone was pressing med/hardish on my chest. it didn't hurt horribly but it was enough for me to worry about it. but, since i was in london i had stopped smoking so much for the week. i thought it could possibly be from that. when i came home the poking was gone. but, the second night i was home i had a extremely strange experience. i was in bed, and everytime i closed my eyes i felt as if i was going to die. i felt as if i was going to throw up, but like it was in my chest, and i knew that i wouldn't. my chest hurt badly. i also had extreme pain in the back of my head that would move to the front & so on. we went to the hospital and they couldn't find anything wrong with me. except that my white count was high. now, this keeps happening to me. the same exact feeling. every single night. nothing makes it stop, except falling asleep, which is extremely hard to do. the doctors suggested it could be a panic attack, but i don't understand how it could possibly be anything related to one. i got a chest xray and nothing came out bad. i got a blood clot test, and nothing came out bad. i got an ekg and nothing came out bad. i got every other type of blood test you could imagine and nothing came out bad. im so sick of this feeling. and noone can tell me how to make it go away. i've been smoking for 3 years, could this possibly be the reason? i've also been drinking high caffeinated soda lately, could this possibly have caused this? i've also been extremely stressed out. this is litterally driving me insane. all i do is worry about what is wrong, what's happening to me and why. does anyone have any idea what is happening to me?
