Hi there! i just re-filled mine! Using a re-fill pack from Tesco �5.99 for black or same for colour. OK the colours are not so bright, but a little mixing- can make good results! the instructions are included. just drill the vent holes! then use syringe and fill then use rubber stoper to plug hole! simple process and cheap! As the re-fill can be done upto 6 times with each pack! great value! they are ok for general printing! but I went to a locaol Hoby Craft and found some better ink! I used for re-filling for photo prints!! hpe this helps!

I have had both HP and Canon and I do believe that Canon cartridge's are more expensive. I have a Canon now and it seem that there cartridge's don't last as long as the HP cartridge. Hope this helps.

Canon are great printers even the entry level ones. The subject of ink costs is a sore one though as all ink is way too expensive. I hear Kodak ink is about the cheapest but I have never owned a Kodak printer to confirm this so I also can not offer an opinion on how good they print either.

The HP is going to be more cost efficient. i should note that I am basing this off the fact that you can refill the HP ink cartridges -- this is not yet possible with the Canon cartridges that that printer uses.

Q. What photo printer should i get to get good quality pictures for under $100?
i'm looking at these two: "canon selphy™ cp720 thermal photo printer" for about $50 "canon pixma mp250 multifunction printer 4800x1200dpi photo/copy/scan usb 2.0" for $40 the 1st one is an older thermal printer on ebay and the second is a new inkjet model. i know inkjet printers use a lot of ink which gets expensive. i don't know much about thermal printers. which type produces better quality photos and costs less to operate in terms of ink and such. or should i be looking at some other photo printer? thanks

I have discovered that ordering prints online from a place like Clark or MPix is much more convenient. These places use high dollar professional printers and quality paper. After you pay for the paper and inks or toners you will have paid nearly as much for a fraction of the quality. Both of the places I mentioned are inexpensive but produce quality results.

my printer is a canon pixma mp250 and i have a project due monday and i'm wondering y it won't print my pages. i just bought black ink but i have no color. i don't need color anyway but it won't print without it so am i doing the right thing to go and buy some or is there another way cause it won't work everytime i try. i try to take out the color then it tells me there is no color duhhh..then i put it back and it says that black is full but color isn't..even though i'm not printing in color it still does this. please help thank you its not printing at all..and i tryed putting it on gray scale and it still wouldn't soo i'm going to buy color hopefully it works thanks for all the advice!

i have a brother printer that does the same thing and the only way to get around it for most new printers is to just get new color.
