Hi there! i just re-filled mine! Using a re-fill pack from Tesco £5.99 for black or same for colour. OK the colours are not so bright, but a little mixing- can make good results! the instructions are included. just drill the vent holes! then use syringe and fill then use rubber stoper to plug hole!
simple process and cheap! As the re-fill can be done upto 6 times with each pack! great value! they are ok for general printing! but I went to a locaol Hoby Craft and found some better ink! I used for re-filling for photo prints!! hpe this helps!

Q. I have a canon mp250 all in one will not work? i have a canon all in one that when i turn it on the ink cartridges slam to the right and it gives me an error code p2 and it will do nothing. i've uninstalled it then re-installed but it doesn't help. any idea's
Check if it has a dirty or blurred out encoder strip. If it's dirty, clean it. If it's blurred to the point the encoder lines are erased, then replace that strip if available.

Q. Canon mp250 help on printing.? i have a canon mp250 multifunction printer barely used. so the other day i wanted to use it because i have an essay to print out.. to my surprise it didnt print. i tried printing everything possible but nothing comes out. now on the computer it says that its printing and that everything is okay. i ran a diagnostics check and everything was fine.. when it asked me if i wanted to print out a sheet to see if the ink was clogged i did and it printed. so then i tried printing my essay and nothing happens again. it says that it has been printed and everything. but no it hasnt.. what is the problem?
i have selected it as default since the beginning. i've unistalled and installed so many times im getting tired.. everything seems to be in order except it wont print out the documents..
Maybe print spooler service is not running.
To start the Spooler service, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
Double-click the Printer Spooler service, and then change the start-up type to Automatic. This sets the Spooler service to start automatically when you restart the computer.
If you want to start the spooler service immediately, click Start under the Service Status field.

Q. Problem with canon mp250 printer? i refilled the black ink cartridge, but it does not work. what can i do?
Replace the black in with a new one. THe cartridges have a smart chip and cannot be easily refilled.

Q. Is it safe to refill ink cartridges? i have a canon mp250 and am wondering if it would be safe to use one of the ink refilling kits i've seen at the store. of course the manufacturer says not to but the ink cartridges cost almost as much as the printer itself so..... why wouldn't i try it? will it really mess it up or are they just trying to scare me into buying their cartridges? another option is the generic ink cartridges and i thought i might try those first. anyone have any experience with this? if you have this model that would be particularly helpful. thanks

Yes, I do it all the time, and it works really well. I end up spending about $2-5 each time I need a refill, versus paying over $10 for a new ink cartridge. I get my refill kits here http://www.castleink.com/_Ink-Refill-Kits.html in case that helps too.

Q. Is canon pixma mp250 good? looking to buy printer for dorm room. are canons good or hp? i will probably print papers, lecture notes, on a regular basis and don't want to spend a whole lot on ink.

Canon are great printers even the entry level ones.
The subject of ink costs is a sore one though as all ink is way too expensive. I hear Kodak ink is about the cheapest but I have never owned a Kodak printer to confirm this so I also can not offer an opinion on how good they print either.
