I guess that at niagara falls are many of hotels so the prices are different too. So quite expensive but also worth that money. Judith Foster

What a coincidence. Our family of 3 went to Niagara Falls Ont. Can, last year in August. We stayed at the Comfort Inn/Quality Inn Clifton Hill (see link below) on the Canadian Side. (The American side did not really seam visitor freindly as to accomodations etc) but U.S. side did have a nice wlaking trail etc. so plan some time for the U.S side too. The hotel rooms were normal, but my daughter really enjoyed the pool ( it was very nice for a hotel). The hotel location with respect to attractions was great. One block away from the main drag with lots of resturants and attractions. Two blocks from the "The Maid of the Mist" boat ride and a spectacular view of the American Falls (from the Canadian side). The HorseShoe falls were about 4-5 blocks away. When you walk the the ticketing area, (see link below) you can also purchase a multi attraction pass (including a pass for trolley transportation to different attractions that you can ride as far or as often as you like). Just ask at the front desk and they can tell you where to purchase the multi attraction pass. Make sure to take the trolley to see the rapids section of the river below the falls (nice relaxing trip). As for time alotment. You can see everything in one day, but two days would be better, so plan the Maid of the Mist and HorseShoe Falls for one day, see how it goes and do the rest the next day. We had a wonderful time. As for amount of money to bring. The falls attractions are reasonably priced (see links below for prices). As for resturants and other local attractions, a bit pricey, but normal for turist areas i guess. If you wonder a little father into the actual town prices are a bit better, but we went in at night and I was a bit edgy as to the area we were driving into, so better stay close to the attactions area. As for dinner with kids, the Rainforrest Cafe was a favorite of my daughters, we liked it too. The big ferris wheel and the revolving tower are other nice things to see and do. Well, don't know what else to say but have a nice time. We are planning to go back again maybe next year so you can believe me when I say it was nice.
