Q. What's the best way to make my epson cx6600 printer work after changing the ink cartridge?
unfortunately, whenever i change it, i have to go through hoops to make it print properly. this time it's not printing properly at all. i have been using a dell printer that works fine after changing the ink. what's going on with epson? is anyone else having this ink changing problem?

You should always prime the printheads after changing ink cartridges. Open your printer utility software and, print a nozzle check and clean the printheads if necessary. It's very common for ink to dry in the inkjet nozzles but there are ways to minimise the problems you seem to be experiencing. Visit help page at Inkjet Oasis. You'll find a quick and easy guide on how to get your Epson printer working again, plus there are a few tips on how to prevent clogs in the future.

In order to see what the problem we would need your printer model. I know these guys know everything if it helps! http://www.inktelligent.com You can post there or repost here with your model Also mention if your cartridges are original or remanufactured or refilled if you know.

Q. Is there a market anymore for changing ink in printers at local businesses?
about 6 years ago, i got an offer to buy a business like this and it was doing well. but now with office depot and places filling cartridges (seems cheap) is there a place for this market anymore? i am not looking to get rich, by the way. just a side gig. also with more and more people being more computer literate...?

The refill market is staring to struggle, as some of the newer cartridges are difficult to refill and will cause problems for the user that just are not worth the few saved dollars. However the compatible market is still thriving. Toners are also becoming a huge market as a lot of people are switching over since the cost has dropped substantially.

Q. I have an epson stylus photo rx510 and i want to print a document without changing my color ink.?
however the printer wont let me print even if i have black ink, i have all the other inks except the magenta has run out. is there a way i can change the settings so that i can still print documents that are only black and white, without having to change the magenta?

Q: Can I still print in black if a color cartridge is empty or vice versa? A: No. You cannot print at all if any ink cartridge is empty. Leave the empty cartridge installed in the printer until you have obtained a replacement; otherwise the ink remaining in the print head nozzles may dry out. It's always best to have an extra cartridge on hand. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=FAQ&oid=26321&prodoid=37472317&foid=35011 Cheers
