ok,so heres the deal.i needed ink for my printer,instead of buying a new cartridge,i bought a refill system.ok,so that includes these two tube-like things that hold the ink,and the instructions.the ink looks the same color to me in both of them.ok,so my question(s) are.does one color and one black come in a refill system?on the instructions it has one part for each(color and black).and how in the world do i refill them?these instructions are absolutely greek to me! all answers,suggestions,comments welcome and very much appreciated.thank you! there isnt a number on the package its just a box,with the brand of ink the instructions dont have one either.

The answer to this can not be made clear as you have provided very few details. First off, you will need 1 black ink refill to refill black cartridges. You will need a minimum of 3 ink refills for most color cartridges. Some cartridges can be filled by removing a label to expose the fill hole, others will need to have hole bored into them. Also some cartridges have an embedded ink level chip that must be reset or replaced. Refilling Ink cartridges can be very labor intensive and often just plain does not work. Do what I do and buy your cartridges on Ebay.

It works to an extent. Be careful, you may get inferior ink (almost like watered down) so that it just leaks or prints blobs. It may also void your warrenty on the printer, so you won't receive any support from the manufacturer if the refill causes problems.

Hi there Not knowing what part of the world your in makes it difficult. Here in Australia i use Cartridge World.I have been having them refill my Canon cartridges for over 2 years now and have never had a problem. Do a search for cartridge refills and try one in your area. Make sure the guarantee them as if the wrong in is used it can stuff your system up and cost up to $120 aussie dollars to repair. Flakes

i mainly need the printer for printing shipping labels and ect. what is a good, low price printer? all in one would be great too. or what store is the best for purchasing a printer? i need something where the ink isnt super expensive also. i have the kodak easyshare 5500 right now but this printer is no good at all for me. thanks in advance.

This printer will be by far the best choice for you. The reason is that it is laser so you do not need to refill as much and is much more reliable. Also the refilled cartridges are very cheap and very reliable. It is suggested as one of the smartest choices for your case by Inkfilling which is a major refill online retailer http://www.inkfilling.com/printer-printer-samsung-ml-2510.html You can also try ebay for this printer but I certainly do not suggest a brand new model bought from Officedepot or other electronics retailer because those new models are going to be too expensive to maintain and can only use overpriced original cartridges . If you want to use your printer for your artwork and you are concerned about the quality of output then do NOT use refilled carts. Yes, a genuine HP cart will cost you more but you will never get the absolute best image from a refil -- for many reasons. 1, HP engineers their inks to work with that particular printer - a refill ink does not . 2, the ink cart itself (especially on most HPs) also contains the print head - use a refill and your reusing an old print head. And lastly point 3 ... see point 1 - yes, the inks really are engineered for each printer (or family of printers-- hence why there are so many different ink carts avail). If you just want to do a rough draft - then fine, refill might be ok. But again, to ensure the absolute best - use genuine. I cannot tell you how many 'refills' or basically any non genuine ink/toner carts I have thrown out after only a few pages because the quality was horrible. It really stinks that they cost more - but you will never go wrong w/ a genuine ink or toner cart from HP. Also, if HP should discover you have used a refill cart in thier printer they will deny you any warranty service.

hey all.... i just got a dell allinone printer and the ink cartridges are spendy but i could get the bottles full of ink and refill my own cartridges for cheap. does anyone here know how reliable or good this method is???????????

Usually good enough for casual printing even of photos.
