Yes, it is very essential to have antivirus in your system specially if you are connecting it with internet. the virus and malware etc are spreading at an indefinite rate today and hence it is essential to have a good antivirus installed in your pc or laptop to avoid it from being attacked by these. Kaspersky is one good antivirus.

NO INFACT i have used the avg antivirus and the mcafee antivirus imy system and i would ask them to grade them then i would say that the first place comes to the mcafee and the 2nd for the avg antivirus because the mcafee uses the less system resources and your system does not get slow. for all of these currently i am using the NOD32 antivirus which is far more better than the avg and mcafee.
