You should install the cartridges as the manual says or simply following these steps: lift the top cover of the printer, unplug the printer from power, take ink cartridges out (see the arrows on it) and replace them with new ones after removing the protective tape on their bottom. It's a bit noisy but it's efficient. I've had it for a couple of weeks and I'm pleased with it so far. I wouldn't call it speedy but if you just want it for basic printing and scanning it's fine. Canon printer - please!!!!!? anyone have any idea where i can buy a new canon printer in the uk? any of these models will do: bjc-2000, s100sp, s330, ip1000, ip1500, ip2000, mp360, mp270 or mpc200, i know they may all be discontinued now but as i have quite a few ink cartridges i don't want to start from scratch with different printers.
